ACSI differs from most licensed electrical engineering firms in that we employ both electronics and electrical power engineers. We are well known for our work in the power, communications and controls fields as systems and software designers and installation managers. With this breadth of expertise, ACSI can readily advise the client about the optimum solution(s) and the use of the most appropriate, up-to-date system components. If possible and appropriate, ACSI offers more than one solution, each with a description of their advantages and disadvantages, as well as, their probable costs and explanation of how the solution(s) meet the Client's requirements. ACSI always analyzes the life-cycle cost of a particular design solution, including maintenance, such as; high-ware-parts replacement, software updates and reprogramming, battery replacement, system testing and cleaning, hardware upgrades, calibration, document maintenance, test instrumentation, spare parts and personal requirements by full-time equivalent (FTE).
We have worked using every conceivable project design and project delivery method. This includes CM/GC, design-bid-build, design-build, lease-purchase, GMP, Co-CM, and quasi-IPD methods.
