PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This intake center for the State of Colorado was designed to house 400 to 800 inmates for a period of two to three weeks while they undergo a comprehensive diagnostic and classification process. A part of this diagnostic process relates to the determination of the individual’s condition of health. In addition to the medical diagnostic center, this center contained a comprehensive healthcare facility. The project was unique in that the construction method utilized by the State was CM/GC with CRSS engaged in that role. ACSI's RESPONSIBILITIES: ACSI was engaged by Hoover Berg Desmond of Denver, Colorado, to provide planning, design, and construction administration services for the electronic security, communications, and control systems for this facility.
