Olive View-UCLA Medical Center is a teaching hospital which provides training programs for a variety of health care disciplines in association with several colleges and universities.
ACSI was engaged by the County’s Project Manager to provide peer review and design assistance services regarding the planned project on low-voltage electronic systems including fire detection/alarm, voice/data communications, paging, nurse call, security access control, radio, medical systems infrastructure, mechanical and energy management systems.
ACSI found that additional systems requirements investigation with the facility staff was needed to completely determine their needs with specific focus on interfacing with existing systems. In response, ACSI provided additional design criteria to the County for implementation by the project design team.
Subsequently, ACSI was engaged to provide comprehensive mechanical, electrical and low-voltage commissioning services.
