PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This County jail project was designed to yield a 1,250-Bed Type I/II detention unit with a booking loop and two courtrooms in a modern high-rise configuration. The basic configuration of the jail was podular and supported the remote supervision concept. The use of electronics was extensive compared to the amount used for supervision and control in an indirect supervision facility.
ACSI's RESPONSIBILITIES:

The facility applied sophisticated communications equipment in a high-rise environment to minimize facility staff requirements and contain operating costs while enhancing life safety and security.
